An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

Candidates must be able to work well as part of a team, be flexible, display strong work ethic and demonstrate a willingness to avail of further training. The position is subject to NCSE allocation and SENO review. Where applicable please furnish a certified copy of a completed Special Needs Assistant Form (PF1). Applicants should have experience and relevant qualifications in working with children with ASD. Experience working in a pre-school and or special class setting is desirable. A panel of suitable applicants may be set up from which future vacancies may be filled within a four month period from the date on which the Board of Management approves the successful candidate. The position is initially for an infant school day.
