Description:
As a result of new programme provision and increasing demand for our existing programmes, St. Nicholas Montessori College of Ireland is seeking to increase its core teaching faculty in all areas of early years and primary education from ages 3 to 12. We are seeking dedicated and passionate Montessori, early years and primary professionals who are aligned to our vision that all young people are instilled with a desire to learn which empowers them to be independent, confident and creative learners.

Subject disciplines include:

Montessori Pedagogy and Practice

Primary Curriculum including Maths, English and Irish
Psychology - all core areas

Sociology, Psychology, Philosophy and History of Education

Music, Arts, Drama

Education Policy and Law
Professional Practice and Development (both Early Years and Primary)

Placement Supervision (Early Years settings and Primary)
Business & Management (focus on SMEs and start ups)

We are seeking education professionals with at least a Master's degree in a relevant discipline and ideally with some or all of the following:

-Montessori, early years, primary teacher education or Psychology experience in a Higher Education setting in Ireland
Knowledge and experience of or qualified in Montessori education
-Eligible for registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland
-Eligibel for recognition by the Psychological Society of Ireland
-Experience with delivering and/or supporting online learning, the "flipped" classroom and other forms of flexible learning
-Experience of quality assurance and/or programme validation, preferably with QQI (or HETAC)
-A strong understanding of the Montessori Method and/or early years and primary national curricula
