POST DETAILS
Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This position is a substitute maternity leave position for 0.5 of a post (16 hours) from Jan 28th - June 21st.
Minimum qualifications as per Dept. of Education and Skills circular 44/2014. Previous experience of working with children with additional needs would be highly desirable. Willingness to work as part of a team and participate in school activities and willingness to avail of further training. Successful candidates will be expected to respect the confidentiality of pupils at all times. This position is subject to review by the NCSE SENO. Applicants will be subject to vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening. Canvassing will disqualify.
