An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This is a temporary Special Class Teacher post subject to the schools requirements and as determined by the NCSE and the Department For Education and Skills. The post arises from a maternity cover and is a fixed term contract. Details of Garda Vetting should also be provided and Teaching Council registration. Standard Application form for teaching posts. Teaching experience in a Special School Setting desirable. Carmona school caters for pupils with Severe or Profound General Learning Disability. This maternity cover is for a wonderful class of 5 junior pupils with support from three SNA’s. The post is vacant from January – June 2019. Carmona School is participating in the Droichead process with trained PST members.
