An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Holy Child Pre-school (Rutland Street project) was set up in 1969 by DES as an early intervention programme for children age 3-5 years from Dublin's north inner city. In 2009 the school moved to a new state of the art building in Dublin 1. AISTEAR Curriculum Framework is imbedded in the school.
Today the school caters for 103 children including an ASD early intervention unit. Each mainstream classroom has 01 primary Teacher registered with the Teaching Council and one Childcare worker who supports the teaching and learning. Each class has a maximum of 16 children.
