St. Peter’s School seeks to recruit a class based teacher to cover for a maternity leave commencing 29th August 2018 until February 2019.
St. Peter School, Rathgar is a special school which caters for young people with S.E.B.D from the age of four to eighteen years and follows the national school calendar. St. Peter’s School provides an adopted primary curriculum and the Junior Cycle at level 2/3. There are six students in each class supported by at least one Special Needs Assistant with access to Social Care Workers.
Knowledge and experience of working in an EBD environment would be an advantage. St. Peter’s School aspires to use Restorative Practice to support its students work.
