Raheen Wood Steiner National School is one of three multi-denominational schools under the patronage of Lifeways Ireland CLG. It has been a Steiner school for 24 years and in January 2016 gained full recognition as a Steiner National School. We have 7 DES employed teachers and 1 SNA. We also have other teachers and support staff funded by parental fundraising. We are currently looking for a committed enthusiastic Teaching Principal interested in taking a leading role in a Steiner National School setting. Candidates must meet DES qualification requirements. It is anticipated that candidate shortlisting will be in the week commencing Monday 30th July, with interviews scheduled for mid-August. Finally, the school is committed to supporting the development of staff and maintaining our Steiner ethos.
Appointment will be subject to, but not limited to: satisfactory references; current and continuing Teaching Council registration; current vetting requirements and occupational health screening.
