Blossoms Pre-school Rathdale is a purpose built early years education centre located in The Avenue, Rathdale, Enfield. There are three spacious classrooms in this modern building and two child friendly outdoor spaces. The ECCE scheme, toddler sessions, breakfast club and after school care are all available here.
Position: Part-Time Early Years Educator (AIM Support). 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Start Date: September 2018.
Duties & responsibilities:
• To support and assist the classroom teacher in promoting an inclusive environment for all children.
• Conduct observations & learning stories.
• Follow the policies & procedures of Blossoms Preschool at all times.
• Enable assigned children to become more independent.
• Maintain room and equipment to ensure the health and safety of children at all times.
• Support children’s developments – emotional, social, physical and cognitive in carrying out activities.
• Attend staff meetings and undergo training as required.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.
The ideal candidate will be Garda Vetted and have Fetac Level 6 in Childcare.
Candidate should be passionate, motivated and enthusiastic with good communication skills. A candidate who can be a good team player is also very important.
