We are seeking teachers with a combination of the following subjects: Resource, PE, Gaeilge, Business, History, Home Ec, Technology, Technical Graphics, Art. Candidates will ideally be qualified to teach at least two of the above.
Dublin South City Educate Together Secondary School will open to first year students in August 2018 in Roslyn Park, Sandymount, Dublin 4. We are committed to the vision of education outlined in the Blueprint for Educate Together Second-Level Schools and seek to build a team of creative and passionate educators who share our vision.
We will be using iPads to support and enhance learning. Teachers will be expected to integrate the use of iPads and provide learning experiences which are broad, balanced, challenging and responsive to individual needs.
In DSCETSS co and extra-curricular activities will form an important part of school life, helping to build relationships and enhance learning and wellbeing.
Teachers will work closely to continually advance the quality of learning and teaching – this will involve team teaching and an ‘open door’ culture of observation and ideas exchange.
Staff and students will be trained in the use of Restorative Practices to build a culture of respect, responsibility and community.
