Sacred Heart School, Westport, Co Mayo invites applications for the post of Special Needs Assistant for a full time position arising for the academic year 2018/19.
Requirements for applicants:
• Employers may only interview SNAs with a certified copy of Panel Form 1 (PF1) in the first instance.
• Candidates must show the skills and competencies to deal with students who have varying needs. In particular, students with
o visual and hearing impairment
o emotional and behavioural difficulties
• A FETAC level 3 major qualification on the national framework of qualifications or a minimum of three grade Ds in the Junior Cert or Equivalent.

• Completed Panel Form PF1, if applicable
• CV including two referees
• Copies of two recent references
• Garda Vetting Certificate
