Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Initial duties of this post will be as Special Education Teacher. The following skills, experience and qualifications are desirable.
Full Probation.
A minimum of two years teaching experience in a Junior School setting.
Experience of teaching in a multi-cultural school where English is not the first language of a significant number of pupils.
Experience of teaching children with SEN including Autism.
Experience of Team Teaching.
Expertise in the area of music including the ability to provide musical accompaniment and to train children for singing in church services and school productions.
Appointment is subject to current Vetting requirements and Occupational Health
Screening.
