Little Angels Special School supports pupils ranging in age from 3 to 18 years with Moderate General Learning Disability ,Severe/Profound General Learning Disability ,Autism and complex needs.It has a staff of 20 teachers(including Administrative Principal).42 Special Needs Assistants ,3 part-time teachers,12 Bus Escorts ,Secretary,Caretaker and Cleaner.
The following skills,experience and knowledge are sought:
Knowledge of the curriculum and a broad range of teaching experiences -experience in a special education setting desirable
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
Evidence of experience in managing people
Proven ability to work as a member of a team
Excellent communication skills
Proven leadership skills
Experience in the development ,implementation,operation and evaluation of school based initiatives
Experience of policy development
An understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Little Angels School
