An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Scoil Chormaic Community National School is a relatively new school which was established in September 2010. Scoil Chormaic CNS is a multi-belief school which welcomes pupils of all beliefs and non-beliefs. The school is committed to a spirit of inclusion, equality and partnership in education. Dublin and Dun Laoghaire Education and Training Board are our Patrons and assistance to the model.
Our projected enrolment for 2018 is 530 pupils, with classes up to sixth class. Scoil Chormaic CNS will in time grow to a full three stream school, which is now located in its new, permanent building in Stephenstown, Balbriggan. This school will be opening a special class for pupils with autism in January 2019. This class will be included as part of the mainstream as much as possible.
Applications for the positions in Scoil Chormaic CNS will only be accepted on the school’s application form. This form is available on www.scoilchormaiccns.ie
Applicants should indicate clearly on the form which post(s) is being applied for and ensure they have the relevant qualifications necessary for the post(s).
