SkyDome Academy (www.SkyDome.ie) operates a Mobile Planetarium throughout Ireland. A mobile planetarium gives adults and children a chance to interact with the planets, stars, galaxies and other objects in our universe. The SkyDome allows everyone to experience the wonders of the cosmos without having to travel astronomical distances.
Operating for eight years the SkyDome requires a planetarian to visit schools across Ireland and teach astronomy to children aged 4 to 18 years. The job requires you to drive to schools, set up the planetarium and deliver the lessons. Taking bookings and sending out marketing letters is also required.
