Additional Information:
This is a part-time position (0.83 post) which equates to the Infant day. The ideal candidate will have knowledge & experience of working as an SNA and completed courses in the Management of Challenging Behaviour.
Desirable Criteria :
Experience in assisting pupils with intimate care needs adhering to all the Child Protection Guidelines.
Experience/Training in Manual Handling.
Experience of working with pupils across a broad range of disabilities.
Experience in managing challenging behaviour.
Willingness to work as part of a team & participate in school activities & a willingness to avail of further training.
Current First Aid training.
Successful candidate will be expected to respect the confidentiality of pupils at all times.
Canvassing will disqualify.
The position is subject to review by the NCSE & SENO.
