Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.

This post is for 0.83 week (Infant Day) and is subject to annual review by the NCSE.
We have pupils with mild/moderate/severe autism within the mainstream class setting. They are aged between 5 and 13 years of age. The successful candidate must be prepared to work in any class.
Applicants who have a PF1 form will be interviewed as per Circular 42/2017. Experience of working with children with ASD, EBD, assisting children with toileting needs as well as Lámh and PECS are essential. First Aid qualifications would be desirable.
Ideally the applicants will have FETAC Level 5 or 6 Special Needs, and have a genuine love of working with children with special needs.
Applicants will be subject to Garda vetting requirements and Occupational Health Screening.
Applicants deemed to be on the supplementary panel should state this in their letter of application and enclose their PF 1 form
