The Board of Management of Scoil Mhuire An Fhiacail (Feakle N.S.) would like to invite applications for the post of Principal Teacher.
Scoil Mhuire is a Catholic, mainstream, four teacher, co-educational Primary School situated in rural East Clare with a current enrolment of 83 pupils.
The Commencement Date for this post is Thursday 31st August 2017.
Applicants for this post must have a Certificate to teach Religious Education.
In addition the following skills, experience and knowledge are desirable:
Experience as a teaching principal
Experience in management or in a leadership role
Experience of teaching in a multi class situation
Evidence of continuing and relevant professional development
Liofacht agus suim ar leith sa Ghaeilge
Good communication and organisational skills
An interest and understanding of the importance of local culture.
