Abacas Special School is a school for children aged 4-18 years with a diagnosis of Autism and complex needs. We currently have 18 pupils, expanding to 30 pupils in September 2017. Significant experience working in a setting with children across the Autism spectrum is essential. The successful candidate must be willing to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge and experience of using Lámh, PECs, positive behaviour strategies and crisis intervention is a distinct advantage. Applications by email only please.
