An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
Primary Teacher required for temporary teaching position to cover career break. Duties to include teaching a class of Pupils with special educational needs which may initially be a class for Pupils with multiple disabilities - some of whom can exhibit behaviours that challenge. Adequate and relevant experience of teaching such Pupils is desirable. It should, however, be noted that teaching duties are subject to change during the course of the appointee's employment. The appointment will be subject to Vetting requirements as detailed in DES Circular 0031/2016 & Occupational Health Screening.
