Panel of Applicants:
An internal panel of suitable applicants may be set up to fill vacancies which may occur within a specific time period (four months for teacher posts and the duration of the school year for SNA posts) from the date on which the Board approves the successful candidate.
Additional Information:
This is a part-time SNA post for 16 hours over a 5-day week.
Applicants must include PF1 form where applicable.
St. Finnachta's NS is a mainstream school with two Special Classes for Children with ASD. Experience in a similar highly demanding setting is highly desirable. Key competencies expected in this role include: experience and knowledge of working with children with ASD and Behavioural Difficulties; experience working in a primary school setting; knowledge and experience in using evidence-based interventions for children with communication and high-level behavioural difficulties; and ability to support children with complex medical/ physical needs.
This appointment is subject to Garda/ NVB Vetting, Occupational Screening and Satisfactory References.
