Beverton Preschool, the multi award winning early years service, which has been running in Donabate for 15 years is delighted to announce their expansion and opening of a full day-care service ~ Roots and Wings Early Education and Care Centre.This will be a new, purpose built early years childcare service catering for children from 2 to 12 years of age, offering full day care from 7.30 to 6pm, morning and afternoon preschool sessions as well as afterschool services.
The team at Beverton Preschool are a degree led workforce with a passion for high quality early years programmes. This is seen in our multiple innovation awards and overall winners 2014, many learning story awards with Early Childhood Ireland and our completion of the Siolta Validation programme to the highest level. We are follow an Emergent & Inquiry led curriculum, which is play based and led by each child’s individual interests. Each child leaves us with a unique and individual learning journal which documents their learning, which we won our Overall Innovation Award for in 2014.
Roots and Wing, our new service, will follow this ethos and dedication to high quality early years care and education and we are looking to recruit a team of passionate, dynamic and creative practitioners to achieve this. Roots and Wings opened in Feb 2017 and as our numbers are due to increase in the coming months we are beginning our recruitment process in advance. Early Years Leaders
•3 years minimum experience
•Level 7/8 degree in Early Childhood Education
•A working knowledge of Aistear and Siolta
•Experience of a play based, child-led curriculum
•Leadership & Room management experience
•Starting wage: €12-€15 per hour
We are looking for both full and part time staff in both roles. There will be opportunities to progress in your career in the service as we are newly opened and will be expanding gradually. Working hours may be between 7.30am to 6pm in either full or part time capacity.
